Forest School

Our forest school area is a place where our children are free to explore all areas. The space has rules that are there to keep us safe.

These are:

  • No Pick

  • No lick

  • Stay inside the boundary

The children are asked to sit in the log circle to begin and talk about the rules and anything we have planned for the session. They are then free to explore.

The children love to collect acorns, sticks and leaves to create their own little potions and pies, these are incorporated into games and play that they create.

The swing encourages turn taking and challenges children's core strength to hold themselves on.

The large door can be used as a portal to new worlds or the door to grandmas house.

Our red waterproof suits make forest school accessible all year round, we feel very fortunate to have this wonderful space.
